Role : Project Administrator

Role purpose : To ensure all the direct and indirect requirements for administration within the engineering department are completed to the highest standard.

Job description

  • Raising purchase order numbers with instruction from Project Engineers. Being commercially alert and raising any cost implications to the Engineering Team.
  • Updating relevant CRM information.
  • Ensuring PO’s are sent to suppliers and delivery information (address and required delivery) clearly communicated.
  • Ensuring orders are followed through and delivered within a timely manner.
  • Liaising with Customers on fine details of project.
  • Ensuring relevant people have access to status reports of orders and are well informed of timeframes.
  • Ensuring when po’s / stock received checks are completed against delivery note and po number, and stock receipted to Purchasing / Sales Software (Interprise)
  • Assisting engineering manager with projects. Supporting in administration, following instruction, completing tasks within timely manner.
  • Supporting engineering manager with gathering required information and files.
  • Assist with building customer, supplier, and contractor relationships.
  • Monitoring stock levels, ensuring orders are placed to ensure accessible stocks.
  • Assisting with the development and continual improvement of business systems and control procedures.
  • Ensuring the office environment is kept in a tidy, organized fashion.
  • Working closely with engineers supporting administration tasks.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 depending on experience
  • Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9.00AM- 5.00PM / 8:30AM- 4:30PM
