We’re excited to share some fantastic news with you with the awarding of a prestigious certificate for our exceptional carbon efficiency which underscores our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability. One of our most significant achievements is the installation of solar panels on our building. These solar panels harness the power of the sun to generate clean and renewable energy. By utilising solar power, we’ve significantly reduced our reliance on fossil fuels and, in turn, decreased our carbon emissions.

2. Recycling and Reusing Packaging

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our packaging practices. We’ve invested in cutting-edge equipment that enables us to recycle and reuse packaging materials. This not only reduces waste but also minimises our environmental impact and carbon footprint.

3. Energy-Efficient Heating

We’ve upgraded our heating system to a more energy-efficient model. This improvement not only enhances the comfort of our workspace but also significantly reduces our energy consumption, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint.

4. Embracing Zero Carbon Electricity

In line with our environmental responsibility, we’ve chosen to partner with British Gas’ Zero Carbon electricity tariff. This decision means that the electricity we use is sourced from renewable, carbon-neutral sources. By doing so, we are making our operations even more eco-friendly and reducing our carbon emissions.

5. Promoting Sustainable Transportation

Within our organisation, we’ve implemented a cycle scheme to encourage our team members to opt for eco-friendly transportation options. This initiative reduces the carbon emissions associated with commuting, and we are proud to promote sustainable transportation choices.

 Our Remarkable Carbon Offset Achievement

Now, the cherry on top of our efforts: Yuken Europe Ltd is offsetting 5 tonnes of carbon dioxide each month! We achieve this through our support of Gold Standard Community-Based Verified Carbon Reduction Projects. This commitment began on October 26, 2023, and we are immensely proud of our contribution to the fight against climate change.
